F-22 Raptor

Description

When it became operational in 2005 the F-22 was the most advanced fighter aircraft in existence. Unique due to its combination of stealth and supercruise (sustained supersonic flight without afterburners), the F-22 is without peer. Although optimized for the air-to-air role, the Raptor is capable of basic air-to-ground missions. It has a 20mm 6-barrelled cannon that can be used for strafing.

PRIMAL Assessment

Although none of PRIMAL’s aircraft could survive against a F-22, the latest electronic countermeasures could certainly delay the inevitable. PRIMAL generally relies on guile and civilian cover to avoid contact with military interceptors.
