Five-Seven

Description

The Five-Seven pistol is built around a proprietary 5.7mm round designed to penetrate body armor. It has a large 20 round magazine capacity and is lightweight with extensive use of polymer. Limitations include questionable lethality and armor penetration only of lighter armor, not the ceramic plates commonly used by military forces. The same 5.7mm round is used in the P90 submachinegun making the two weapons a good match.

PRIMAL Assessment

PRIMAL don’t use the 5.7mm round as it has weak lethality when used with a suppressor and the operators are not fans of the Five-Seven and P90 weapon systems. Additionally the round can be hard to source in some countries. That being said, PRIMAL will use hard-to-find ammunition such as 300BLK and 4.6mm when the weapon system suits the task.
