CTF-151

Description

CTF-151 is a Combined Naval Task Force from a number of nations. It is primarily responsible for countering the threat of piracy off the coast of Somalia. Established in 2009, CTF-151 has been successful reducing attacks from 170 in 2010 to almost eliminating the threat.

PRIMAL Assessment

CTF-151 would pose a significant threat to PRIMAL should the team have to conduct a mission off the waters of Somalia. Most of the warships in the CTF have helicopters and are able to rapidly respond to reports of pirates in the area of operations.
