HK G28

Description

The G28 is the Designated Marksman Rifle of the German Army. Closely related to the HK417 assault rifle, it has a number of accuracy enhancements to guarantee first round hits out to 600 meters.

PRIMAL Assessment

Not a dedicated sniper rifle, however the G28 is a versatile weapon able to put accurate fire out to a moderate range and maintain high rates-of-fire in an assault or suppression role. If a longer-range weapon is required PRIMAL recommends a sniper rifle chambered in .338 or .408.
