MC6 'COMMANDO MORTAR'

Description

The Hirtenberger M6C-210, also known as the ‘Commando Mortar’, is a lightweight indirect-fire weapon. Able to be carried and operated by an individual, it provides accurate fire out to 1,600 meters. Can fire standard 60mm mortar rounds including high-explosive, white phosphorous, and illumination. Unlike more traditional mortars, the M6C fires using a trigger.

PRIMAL Assessment

Not particularly useful for low-profile covert operations, however this light support weapon is a must have if fighting an enemy that is dug in, behind cover, or beyond line-of-sight. The main limitation for the M6C is not its weight, but the weight of carrying spare 60mm ammunition. PRIMAL would not utilize the M6C on a regular basis but may train its operatives in its employment.
