PVS-7

Description

For its time, the 80’s-era PVS-7 was an effective night vision goggle. Waterproof and rugged, they were the standard US military NVG for over a decade. Compared to modern devices they are bulky and have a narrow field of view.

PRIMAL Assessment

Obsolete technology, however in the hands of an adversary this NVG can still be a game changer. Can be defeated by smoke as they only intensify light, not sensing thermal signatures.
