Plasma Weapons

Description

Plasma weapons constitute grenades, flamers, rockets and missiles. They are the successor to thermobaric explosives, white phosphorous and fuel-powered flamethrowers. Their ultra-heated plasma releases substantially more energy than regular explosives, creating enough heat to rapidly melt armor plate. Smart warheads enable plasma rounds to penetrate through armor or walls before detonating.

Highly devastating and demoralizing, plasma weaponry is suited for urban warfare where collateral damage is a minor consideration. Whether in a built up environment or amongst vegetation, a key consideration is the risk of starting an uncontrollable fire.
