QJZ-89

Description

The QJZ-89 is a heavy machine gun firing a powerful 12.7mm round. While it is relatively lightweight for its class (26kg/57lbs including tripod) it is most effectively utilized on a vehicle or in static positions. Due to its slow rate of fire it is not optimal for anti-aircraft defense.

 PRIMAL Assessment

Firing a heavy hitting round, the QJZ-89 is a significant threat to vehicles and personnel out to 1,500 meters. PRIMAL would neutralize this threat using air support, guided missiles, or a long range sniper rifle.
